The Jaeck lab is fully online!

We are pleased to announce that our laboratory is fully online! Covid restrictions, supply chain disruptions, and warranty cases of our equipment—we haven’t been short of challenges and we couldn't dodge all bullets. The standing wave pattern of quasiparticles on the copper (111) surface is the first ever picture taken on our home-built MBE-JT-STM. It stands witness to the great achievement of our team to overcome these obstacles and reach the goal. While this has been a collective effort, I cannot refrain from highlighting Sophie’s key role in this process. Stay tuned for many more exciting science updates to come out soon!
